News From Metro Atlanta

Just got back from Metro Atlanta this past weekend, and I drove good, but luck wasn't on my side. In my Jr. Honda car, I was headed for the A main feature with 6 laps to go until I was involved in a crash, and per USAC rules any car that is involved in a crash must go to the rear no matter who is at fault. I had to start 10th and ran out of time, so I had to settle for 6th. I did make the A main in the SR animal car. I finished 5th in the A main feature after starting 8th out of 9. I had engine issues in my Sr Animal car and was fortunate to finish 5th. We did find the problem in the motor, so I should not have any more issues. All in all my race team had a fun weekend and I did qualify both cars for the 2010 National Championship in Indianapolis in July this summer.

Competing in the Eastern District

I will be competing at the Eastern District Championship in Atlanta this weekend. The race also qualifies each driver for the Battle at the Brickyard in Indianapolis Speedway. I will compete in Jr Honda and Sr Animal class.

Getting Ready for Upcoming Events

Practicing Wednesday in Wimauma then TBQMRA Points race Sunday then next weekend the Race team heads to North Carolina to compete in NCQMA March Midget Madness.
